PROJECT STATUS

The historical Washington Elementary School in Green River, Wyoming, burned in 2019. We are raising funds to purchase and restore the building. The undamaged portion will be remodeled to become a transitional home for single mothers and their children. DONATE NOW

THE VISION

The exterior will be rebuilt to preserve the original historical design, but the interior will be even better. The housing for single mothers will include sleeping quarters, a common kitchen, living space and gathering areas.

A COMMUNITY RESOURCE

The remainder of the building will be a community resource that includes office space, conference rooms, meeting places, an auditorium and more. These additions will bring in funds to help maintain the building.
